I met Dr. Covitz on a whim when my female cat was having a seizure and the emergency vet was too far. He was one of the rare people in life who opened their doors in a time of extreme need. Since then, he has been my regular vet who has dealt with all kinds of issues (not limited to my enormous male cat turning ferocious when he sees a needle near his bladder). I appreciate his kindness, honesty and very unique sense of humor. Both of my kitties are in good hands!
The doctor and the whole staff are genuinely amazing. I will not take my dog anywhere else.
They are beyond caring and compassionate. There is noone I trust more with my pet. Thank you to all the staff.
My dog had lymes in July first thing the vet wanted me to bring my dog back in the office for weight which she was in the office on June 28th and was called saying she had lymes on July 3rd , no one recorded my dogs weight I am not going to bring my dog for a weight check and spend money on that after I told them her weight which I remembered from the visit. I picked up the antibiotics and I had a question regarding the medication called 3 times no phone call back which is completely unprofessional . I will be taking my dog to another vet who actually cares about your animal!!
We brought our beautiful dog Carson to Dr. Covitz for the first time last week and sincerely wish we had known of him sooner. His office environment is soothing, calming, and filled with love and compassion. Dr. Covitz is the most amazing, intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate person/veterinarian we have ever known with a very wonderful sense of humor. He knew exactly how to make Carson feel at home and relaxed, inspired trust from Carson, and treated Carson with love and respect, which not may vets know how to do or take the time to learn. My husband and I are tired of veterinarian offices where the 4-legged animal is treated as simply a $ sign. Dr. Covitz listens to ones concerns, explains everything thoroughly, gives options and , most importantly, he is honest in his assessments. We will never go anywhere else, so take good care of yourself, Dr. Covitz. A special "shout-out" to Mary, a volunteer assistant at the animal hospital, who is one of the most animal knowledgeable , kind, caring, helpful individuals we have ever met. With Love, Carson, Judy, and Jim.
