We have four rescue pooches, and have had many dogs over the last four decades, so tons of experiences with vets. This has unfortunately been our very worst vet experience. We really wanted to like this place and tried to smooth things over after a very bad recent experience involving a *5 hour * road trip we were sent on, ostensibly to receive emergency care after hours for our 17 year old boy, only to arrive at our destination in Rock Hill, and find no vet on the premises. We were sent to yet another clinic 30 minutes further away, but nobody forwarded our senior scan test results to that clinic. So we drove back home again without our boy ever even having been seen. A 5 hour+ trip at night, through the Catskills, for nothing. This appt was made by our fur and feathers vet, which we confirmed by phone. There was no contrition whatsoever about this most unfortunate experience when we told fur and feathers about it, nor any concern for our boy not receiving the urgent care we were told in no uncertain terms that he desperately needed. We were then told it was our fault. Apparently we did not get there fast enough. Wouldnt you think that would be at least worthy of a “geez, I am so sorry that happened! How frustrating. There must have been a miscommunication. Here let’s take a look at your boy.” Nothing like that. Not a single kind word. That should have been the end of it, alas, foolishly I decided to give them one more chance. But today was the last straw. After all this happened, they charged us $182 for *15 tablets* of cerenia, which I called around and found other vets charge $90 for. No explanation. It seems like its all about the money with these folks. They do NOT VALUE you as a customer, dont seem to care much about their patients. If you want to feel scolded, ripped off and belittled, go here. They are ALWAYS right, the customer is always wrong. Hate to say it, but it is also not very clean inside.

Still haven't received reimbursement for pre-approval testing as a surgery was never done!
