We've always had a good experience at VVA

My Family recently had to take our boxer to vet (Emergency Visit)- she was knocking on deaths door step..... she was losing weight fast and at an un explainable rate, plus ate some human food that is very toxic (ate 6 grapes)- The staff at VVA brought us in and quickly....Dr Davis was our vet- straight to the point he told me, we had to check kidney function. i said whatever needs to be done-Blood work came back she was in kidney failure. So here we are a few weeks later and my boxer Piper who was in very rough shape, is now bouncing around like shes a puppy again- shes 8. Although she requires special food and care, shes happy to be here. Jon and all his staff at VVA were amazing- each and every one of them deserves a thank you- without you all Piper would not be with us today. I am forever thankful for the care all my animals receive. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I had my cat here that was an emergency. It’s taken me a while after having to put her down to talk about this. They did get her in for an emergency. She was in the ICU here and it was way more than what I was estimated. Everytime I came to visit my cat, crying, they only cared about me paying even after a $600 deposit when I first admitted my cat. I drove over a hour and when I tried to get my cat transferred to another vet they would not let me. They were not helpful at all and I ended up losing my cat after 4 days and $5000 in bills. She ended up intubated and came back just long enough for me to say goodbye to her. They couldn’t figure out what was going on, accepted it and never seemed to WANT to know. There was never a sense of urgency at all. My cat needed a blood transfusion and I called them to approve it and they didn’t pick up and didn’t call me back until the NEXT DAY. Very neglectful, very inconsiderate and it was one of the most painful feelings. My cat was my best friend and she was young and healthy. Please, if you have an emergency find a better place. I would not wish this pain on anyone since my cat was like my child.
