Mt. Pleasant gets rave reviews from me. I highly recommend this facility. The doctor is fantastic and his staff is wonderful. My 9 year old cat needed emergency surgery. It was the middle of the afternoon and my vet nor anybody else we reached out to had any availability and if they did, it was beyond my affordability level . Mount Pleasant Animal Medical Center carefully listened to what was going on. The receptionist said she would try her best to explain the situation to the vet. She truly did, because within minutes , she was able put us in touch with the vet, Dr. Corso who instructed us to bring the cat right in and he would look at her and see if surgery was a possibility. He was very understanding and very detailed oriented. He explained her situation and the risks that were involved, but very confidently saying he was sure that he would be able to perform surgery. This was at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Dr. Corso said to return the day at 4:30. The surgery went better than expected, and I was able to bring my cat home that evening because he was able to administer all the medication that she needed and sent home her pain medication. He truly cared as well as his staff. I have not felt this way going to many businesses these days. I have never seen the care taken in stitching. It was as if a plastic surgeon walked in and did this work. A cone was not even necessary. He’s amazing. Dr. Corso, Thank you for being there and thank you for helping and thank you for making all possible. My kitty is doing great right now and I will see you next week for a follow up.

My dog had gotten his nail stuck on something and cracked it. He was bleeding for a while and in some pain. We got it to stop but it had to be fixed. My wife contacted the practice on instagram after hours and the owner IMMEDIATELY responded and gave us an appointment early in he next day. My wife said the doctor and practice was great and kind. The treatment was very reasonable.

Dr. Corso and his team are truly wonderful.We had to put our dog down unexpectedly and they were accommodating, kind and compassionate. They made such a difficult day much easier on us.
