The entire staff was amazing, helping us with a reactive dog who doesn’t do well at Vet visits. Shout out to Jyla, Ivanna, and Megan who were incredibly patient and skilled at what they do! Highly recommend.

In his old age, my cat seems to be getting very uncooperative during his visits to the vet. Dr. Doherty is incredibly patient with Leo and makes every effort to reduce his stress during his exams. She also takes all the time needed to answer all my questions. I recommend her highly. As an update, I wanted to add that I have been a very satisfied client of SHAH for many years. Dr. Romano and Dr. Doherty have the high-level technical expertise you would expect of graduates of Cornell's veterinary medicine school. Beyond that, the doctors and the entire staff always take the time needed to give compassionate care and attention to anxious pets as well as nervous pet parents. I always feel I have the answers to my questions and an understanding of my older cat's many health care needs. I can't imagine going elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this practice. Drs. Doherty and Romano have been taking care of both our cats and dogs since they took over the business and have always been friendly, courteous and compassionate. They are very knowledgeable and have found treatments for two of our pets with unusual conditions.

I figured it's about time I write a review for this veterinary practice. Every single person at this practice, from the veterinarians to the vet techs to the administrative staff, is exceptional. The vets are not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions, and make sure we feel confident and informed about every decision. The vet techs are gentle, attentive, and wonderful with our sometimes anxious crew (we have three cats and one dog) and the front desk staff is warm, organized, and always welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about both the animals and their humans. We’ve tried other veterinary practices in the past, but none compare. This team consistently goes above and beyond, and it shows in the quality of care they provide. We are so grateful to have found such a compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy veterinary hospital for our furry family members. Highly, highly recommend!

Relocating our retriever Eris to the Philippines, Dr Romano and team have been outstanding. From explaining all the necessary processes, to completing timely (and somewhat complicated )forms, SHAH has pretty much taken the worry off our hands. Totally professional ,would not hesitate to recommend their friendly and efficient services. An especially big thank you to Kate on the front desk, who went above and beyond to take our stresses away. You are a star.Our fur baby will miss the welcome and fussing she enjoyed on every visit, thanks for everything and good luck for the future.
