We took our dog here because he wasn't getting up and walking as he had the day before. Yesterday morning, before taking him to this clinic, his eyes looked just fine, he had eaten, and was drinking, as we told the vet and tech. This was not the issue, and I was glad. Today, he refuses food and water. When we got him home, I noticed blood was coming from a lump near the shoulder, and that paw is swollen. The female tech removed his muzzle because he was NOT aggressive with her, and my husband and I saw this as she walked him to the examining room. He was wagging his tail for her. When Gabriel brought him out to us (after we had been there for 5.5 hours), my dog flopped to the floor. He didn't offer to help bring him to our car, but I saw him help a patient who had been there for hours. I asked the receptionist to have Gabriel come out and help us put our dog into the car. He came out after a few minutes and assisted, along with the short, dark-haired female tech. He then told me that my dog had become aggressive toward him when he was in the back room. When they drew blood, his muzzle should have been put on; that's why I brought it, just in case. I believe my dog was mishandled, and that's why he was bleeding (and still is up until this morning), in addition to that paw being swollen, which was not the case when he arrived at this veterinary clinic yesterday morning. I believe that's why our dog wasn't brought out for an additional 1.5 hours (after I was told my dog would be out soon); he was, most likely, handled too roughly and was hurt. He was eating and drinking just fine yesterday morning, and now he isn't.

We are newer to EEVC as our Vet joined them recently. Our cat’s team continues to give her excellent care. Everyone is very nice & it is a calm environment in the waiting area.

I have had really bad experiences at animal hospitals but not this one .. i want to say thank you to the staff at this emergency hospital for being attentive and helping me out with my sick dog .. from the front desk to the triage intake to the vets you guys were top notch .. i appreciate all you did to help my dog

Excellent care for my sweet 12 pound Farfel who was in the midst of an allergic reaction. From phone conversation to meeting kind and personable Antoinette at reception to triage and the fine vet who cared for him, he was treated with kindness, compassion and competence. Worth the cost; and when I shared that I had the meds he needed at home, they didn't try to sell theirs. Only 24 hour game in town, and we're fortunate to have them. Thank you so much!
