Love all the staff here.i felt they really listened to what I had to say.they took the time to explain things.Most importantly though they fixed the problem with my bulldogs pretty quickly.the last vet I spent thousands of dollars and they never really helped me.they just made it seem like "oh that's just bulldogs for ya" when I knew my bulldogs didn't have to be suffering like they were. Glad I made the switch! Thank you guys for being so kind and helpful to my baby bulls ❤️

I can't believe that we were asked not to come back to Helping Paws because of a misunderstanding regarding the ashes of our decreased kitty. Judy, who answers phones clearly can not handle any type of push back and has no empathy. I have always found her to be rude and argumentative but have been a client since day one because we truly liked Dr Nelson. We actually told family and friends to go here. And now we're being " kicked out". Apparently they have no loyalty to those who helped them when they first started out and helped spread the word about their new business. Judy actually belittled my wife by saying we never come in for regular checkups but only use them for emergencies. Apparently this is a theme of hers based on other reviews. We are gladly moving on to a new vet and I've already spread the word.

The staff are always so kind and considerate. They treat my dog with patience, compassion, and gentle reassurance that puts my mind at ease knowing my dog is in good hands. They don’t overcomplicate things with medical jargon and they make sure I don’t have any questions. Affordable treatments with outstanding care is what you can expect. I absolutely love Helping Paws and will continue to use them as my go-to veterinary office and recommend them to anyone in need.

Honestly forgot to make a review a few months ago because life is busy, but they literally nixed me as a customer because I didn't schedule *unneeded* check ups for my pets. I have 5 cats and a dog, I can't afford to take them to the vet as many times as this vet would like me to. I go when there is an issue or concern. My cat pretzel was having a problem and they literally would not see him because I didn't bring him to his annual checkup (I couldn't afford it). Not to mention in 2020 when my cat Knox was actively dying, they were "too busy" to see him so I had to take him to a vet we didn't even know. I had never missed an appointment and was loyal to that vet as Dr. Nelson *was* very friendly and accommodating. Also side note- never have Dr Nelson cut your pets nails, he cut through the quick on all my dog's nails a few years ago. Don't bother going here. Kyra Haring at For Pets Sake is absolutely amazing!
