Valley vet always treats our pets like family. Instructions are always explained to where it is clear and understandable. Very friendly staff and doctors. I highly recommend valley vet to everyone who wants to have the highest quality veteran care for their fur babies.

Do NOT go to this vet. My dog came in with rapid respirations and heart failure. Took them 25 minutes to see us although my dog was dying in their lobby. When we eventually did get into the room the exam seemed fine, but the vet did a very poor job of explaining to my mother that my dog was in heart failure. Having medical experience myself I felt as though the medications they decided to try on my pup were not going to work fast enough. They told us the meds would take over a day to work but our dog would live for 1-6 months. I asked how long my dog was going to be able to work so hard to breathe and their response was “I don’t know”. They have my dog the furosemide shot and told us to take him home and he would eventually feel better. Our dog died in the car ride home, as his heart could not handle the meds. This is genuinely the most uninformed, disgusting and naive veterinary office I have been to. Save your animals, bring them somewhere else.

My last experience with Valley Vet was terrible. I brought my 13.5 year old dog in to Dr. Lasko. His leg kept popping out such that he had to go to the emergency vet in Kingston . He had been in terrible pain and I took him back to Dr. Lasko the following week. I asked about quality of life intending to put him down that day. Instead of asking pertinent questions about his unusual behaviors, I was told that he had a lot of life left in him. He died at home that night in great pain. I should have followed my own instincts but listened to the vet. I feel guilty to this day. To add insult to injury, the office staff screwed up my getting a dog from another rescue. Terrible time for my dog and me. dr about quality of life. Instead of asking pertinate questions about unusual things my dog was doing, I was told that he had a lot of life left in him. He died at home that night in terrible pain. He should have been putmdown that day but d
