I had an absolutely horrible experience here with Dr.Katz and his entire staff. From the beginning they were nothing but cold and dismissive and could not be bothered by any questions I had as a new dog owner. Not only was their bedside manner horrible but my 4.5 month old golden retriever puppy had been experiencing symptoms that I constantly told and flagged to him which him and his staff swept under the rug and did not even do testing on. Turns out my puppy has an enlarged pancreas and serious condition that they completely missed and it could have been life ending. I would never recommend this vet and hope no one else pet is in harm based on the neglect at this place.

Dr. Katz is the best Vet we have ever used. We moved out of the area and couldn't find anyone nearly as good. Now we travel for our pets to see him.

Pelham Animal Hospital was recommended by a family friend when I was looking for a new vet for my new puppy. I brought him there on March 17, 2026 for a check-up. Dr. Katz and the staff were wonderful. I forgot to ask a question while there, so I called a few of hours later and left a voice message, they called me back within a couple of hours. 😊

I have always had a positive experience at Pelham animal hospital. I take all of my pets here - two cats and two pugs :) and we love Dr. Katz. 100% recommend Pelham animal 🩵

I had a frustrating experience at Pelham Animal Hospital. When I first called to ask about the cost of spaying my puppy, I was given an estimate that seemed reasonable and in line with other clinics. However, when I came in for the pre-op blood work (before even scheduling the surgery), the estimate suddenly doubled. When I asked why the price had changed so much, the staff responded with “I don’t understand your question,” which felt rude and dismissive. I wish there had been more transparency and better communication.
