We have 8 rescue cats and Dr. Fredericks has been their vet pretty much all their lives. Dr Fredericks is truly the only vet we trust to always give our babies the amazing care they deserve. He is always very up-front with us but in a caring way. One thing I love about this practice is that they do not push extra unnecessary tests, etc. They are all about the good of your pet, not about the $$$. Highly recommend Dr. Fredericks!

The finest most caring veterinary hospital that I’ve been able to find anywhere and take it from me, I’ve been all over Long Island seeking assistance for my friends for almost 40 years and before then, my parents and grandparents as well as aunts and uncles used the same Fredericks hospital on Vernon Valley Rd. Intelligent. Reliable. Honest doctors. Where on earth can I find a comparable primary care physician with the same qualifications, quality and compassion for myself ?

So 2 techs came here to cut my cat's nails for $220. They tried and my cat was very scared as always and hid. Also throwing the blanket on her only scared her more! They only could do one back paw. Why didn't they start with the front paws? Now I'm stuck with the same problem. They are crazy long still. Starting with the back paw was worthless. The one girl's only concern was rushing back to the office and also made a comment that my cat hasn't had a recent rabies shot! She did at your place. My indoor cat does not have rabies! I had to pay $220 for nothing. I shouldn't have paid. So now what do I do? I am stuck with the same problem after wasting $220. Thanks a lot! Money, money, money, right? Big disappointment! Time to find a new vet after 14 years! UPDATE. So a friend came over, she took the time, held her while I cut. All it took was someone that cared enough, and wasn’t rushing to leave, and she didn't take $220.00.
