One of the best vets we have been to in New York. The team took amazing care of Zoey, a rescue cat from The Cat Collective who suffered severe burns on her paws from hot pipes. We came in many times for bandage changes and treatments, and every visit the staff welcomed Zoey with so much love and care. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and truly treated her like their own. The team also took the time to explain medications, answer questions, and keep us updated on her progress. Huge thank you to Daphney, Jasmine, Daryel, Dr. Youseef, Franco, and Cynthia for going above and beyond for Zoey. We are so grateful for everything you did for her.

Must say; I was hesitant to look for a veterinarian. On my mind was the notion that they were going to rip me off. Because I’m on disability I rely only on one check monthly & can’t afford it. Thought there was something serious because my puppy wasn’t eating and became lethargic. I was sure it was something, she picked up from the floor that made her ill. However, I wanted X-rays on her stomach. When Veterinarian talked me out of it. Which would’ve been more expensive if it were done. He told me she was starting to menstruate…he saved me money. Felt a bit foolish when Vet pointed it out, to me. What do I know about dogs’ menstrual cycle, nada. Therefore we had some blood tests and physical exams and was sent home with a GI diet and appetizer’s med. He could have easily taken my money and done what I wanted. Yet didn’t instead he explained the situation more in depth. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Is a good vibe and they also followed up with a phone call early morning. To find out how my ‘Fluffy’ was doing. Which was very nice of them. I definitely recommend “Heart of Harlem” to others. Is a small waiting area, nonetheless it was a fast & good experience. C. Rojas
