I adopted my puppy MJ in July from a mill situation, so she came with quite a few medical needs. As a stay-at-home wife, she truly feels like my child, and I made it my mission to get her healthy and thriving. I also spent a lot of time researching the right timing for her spay and chose to wait until after her first heat cycle. While I’m very happy with that decision, I would only recommend it to others if you have the time and attention to closely monitor every subtle change in your dog. It really matters for timing things correctly. This pet hospital has been a complete breath of fresh air and a huge source of relief throughout the entire process. From the day I brought MJ home, they’ve supported us through everything. After 8 to 9 months of care, my puppy is now healthy, happy, and thriving. Her spay was timed perfectly, and her recovery has been smooth. Dr. LoPresti has helped us through so many issues, from Giardia to a UTI and everything in between. She always meets my concerns with empathy and never once made me feel like I was overreacting for bringing MJ in. That level of care means everything as a dog owner. Dr. Lin is incredible when it comes to surgery. When we got MJ back after her spay, and removal of a not so great looking mole on her lip, my husband actually joked about whether she was even spayed because the stitching was so clean and well done. She also gave me thoughtful guidance on waiting three months after MJ’s last heat cycle to ensure her hormones were stable before proceeding. I truly trust this team and feel so lucky to have found them. They’ve played a huge role in giving MJ the healthy, happy life she has today. Highly recommend.
