I’ve been bringing my pet to this office for over 13 years, so it’s disappointing to say that my recent experiences have not reflected the level of care and professionalism I had come to expect. During my most recent visit, I was scheduled as the first appointment of the day, yet Dr. Mazzola arrived 15 minutes late. Additionally, the front desk appeared overwhelmed, which made communication and overall coordination more difficult. After many years as a loyal client, this experience was frustrating and concerning. Based on these recent issues with time management and communication, I would not recommend Dr. Mazzola to others seeking consistent and reliable veterinary care. Update: no contact from marketing team after their “courtesy” response here. In addition Dr. Mazzola, nor the technicians, have contacted me regarding my pet’s stool sample results.

I can’t say enough great things about the entire team at Mineola Animal Hospital and most recently Dr. Mazzola! I’ve been bringing my family’s dog here for years, and they’ve always been incredibly welcoming, patient, and caring. Most recently, they were able to squeeze him in despite a tight schedule, which we truly appreciated. They go out of their way to make every visit as comfortable as possible and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Can't recommend enough! Thank you team!!

My dog recently had double tplo surgery. Dr. Deme coordinated the whole thing and was very helpful throughout the process. The front desk were also very kind and accommodating, especially Betty and Renee!

Yesterday morning Talia, our 9 year old, 62 pound GSD mix, was running around in the backyard with her 4 year old "brother" as they do every morning. My wife watched as she slid across ice on top of the snow and somehow injured her front left paw. She was walking on three legs and was obviously quite uncomfortable. We brought her to Mineola Animal Hospital where she has gotten excellent care since we rescued her in 2020. Dr Ellen Tan saw her and took a little history of the incident. She then got onto the floor with Talia and the veterinary assistant and spent 5-10 minutes evaluating the injured paw. She probed extensively with her fingers, moved her leg around and determined that there was nothing broken. She said it appeared to be a sprain and that there was no need for an x-ray. She gave us some doggy ibuprofen and said Talia should be walked only on the leash for the next few days with no running around in the backyard. Talia walked out of the vet on all four feet as if nothing happened. This was another extremely positive experience for us at Mineola Animal Hospital. We recommend them without reservation.
