My boys had the best experience establishing care with Dr. B today. The staff is amazing- they are so gentle and sweet with our babies. They were genuinely so excited to meet them and it made the experience that much better for both us, and our kitties. Highly recommend if you are in the Lafayette area.

2026 Update Continuation- The staff are always so supportive and helpful. Dr. MacMackin is the best. He explains why he does what he does and addresses all our concerns. He knows how we are with Sadie in the sense that we get so concerned about her care that he is thorough. Would fully recommend Lafayette to anyone that loves their fur babies. Thank you. 2025- Still love the staff here at Lafayette. Always take care of our lab. And don’t overprescribe meds or treatments. We love how Dr. MacMackin gets right down on the floor with her and makes her feel comfortable. And always lets us know that we are doing a good job and makes suggestions, if needed, to keep our aging puppy the healthiest she can be.

The absolute best veterinary clinic from the vets to all the staff

If I could give a 0 star review I would. I am not sure how this dumpster has a 4.9 star rating. I would not bring my pet snail here to be treated. The male doctor at this clinic should lose his medical license. He misdiagnosed my dog without performing any tests, bloodwork, etc. We almost had to have her euthanized because we were told she was septic and was in critical condition and needed surgery (that he wouldn't perform himself mind you.) We called all over upstate NY to get her to be treated and he lied and gave us a quote "from Cornell" that didn't actually come from them. I hope this place gets closed down.
