Dr Wiley took care of my chihuahua for 10 years. She was knowledgeable, to-the-point, and the staff was friendly. The fees were very reasonable and appointment times were convenient.
Very disappointed with Dr. Wiley and the staff. I have been going to them for almost 3 years, I’ve always gotten extra treats/toys when I could to help support them. I honestly really enjoyed most of the staff over the years. However, when my dog went in for a procedure a couple years ago, it was barely held together. It ripped open less than 24 hours later, we called them and they told us that we had to find an urgent care. The urgent care vet had to go in and cut out a lot of flesh because it had dried out from ripping open. After this, we still continued to take our dogs to them and appreciated them. However, that same dog now needs another bump taken off, they had already checked it out and we discussed pre-op bloodwork. They said they may recommend my dog to a specialist for the surgery due to where the bump was located. I said that I would call another day to get the estimate because at the time we couldn’t really afford it. I have been trying to get a hold of them for a couple weeks now, my dog is showing more symptoms and her bump is larger. No answer or call-backs. Went in today to find out what was going on, I was told in a very cold way that they have ended our vet/patient relationship via email. It’s on me that I don’t check my email, but we have always communicated via phone call so I’m not sure why they would assume that I would know they emailed. It’s on them that they have been receiving my voicemails and phone calls and not had the heart to call me back to tell me what’s going on. Now my dog’s health is in jeopardy, I have to wait another two weeks to be seen by the new vet, in which it will be another couple weeks after that before they will probably be able to get the bump off. It would have been nice to have scheduled it weeks ago. I also am almost out of my other dogs medicine, so now I have to ration it until he can be seen by the new vet. Again, all things that could have been prevented if they had called me to let me know. Do you know why they discontinued their services to my pets? Because I mentioned to a staff member that I would feel more comfortable with the specialist doing the procedure, which they had already recommended anyways, due to how the last procedure went. Apparently the “trust” between the vet and I was now broken. That’s fine, but if you really cared about the pets you were seeing, you would have made sure I was absolutely aware so that my pets’ care was not delayed.
I drive 40 minutes away from where I live just to see Dr.Wiley! She does an amazing job with my pets and I trust her completely. She is always available and supportive. I can’t recommend a vet more! Her prices are very reasonable and she treats my pets like they’re her own!
Staff is amazing! One of my dogs is very skittish and for the first time ever she bit one of the staff members. I appreciated the staff member's response toward my dogs behavior. She didn't respond in any negative way towards my dog and we continued to examine the issue at hand. Prices are always reasonable, to me.
After many years, Wiley always demonstrated to me as a person who genuinely loves animals and will do her best to give her patients the best care possible! 🙏🏼
