I have been a customer of theirs for well over 10years. I had called to attempt to schedule an appointment with them to get my dog seen. The office manager was extremely rude, she would not even allow me to schedule an appointment, even though I have 2 other animals as patients with them. I could not transfer care for my dog to them and she hung up on me. I was not trying to get an emergency visit and I have spent a lot of money with their office. In the past 8 months I’ve spent well over $1,000 with them. German Flatts was able to schedule an appointment for my dog the next day. All animals records have been transferred now. Too bad because the other staff members are very helpful and friendly but their office manager just cost them a long standing customer. Kudos to you Christine.

We have been coming to Herkimer Vet for years now and have never had any issues. We have been seen at both locations multiple times. What is prompting me to now write a long overdue, well-deserved 5-star review is the top-notch emergency service we received for our 12-yr old lab mix over the weekend. The on-call vet met us there on time and sprung right into action. Everything was VERY well explained, he received the best treatment plan possible and is now doing absolutely wonderful thanks to Herkimer Vet. Fast forward to this past Monday morning, I received a follow up call asking how he was doing and again today. Their kindness and amazing care are so appreciated. Highly recommend for your furbabies! A++++++

Wife called to ask questions about a booster shot on our dog and the woman on the line just said no and hung up. Unprofessional, we had more questions and we were looking to make this our new vet. Needless to say we will not be going here. Our dog was hurt and these people turned their backs on him. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

They took great care of my dogs and made sure they had all the vaccinations they needed and were very accommodating when I had questions.
