My dog was hit by a car. I called to let them know we were on our way and the severity of the situation...we were just minutes away when the individual on the phone told us they could not treat us because the ONE vet they had working was in surgery! They told us we had to go to the Orchard Park clinic...my dog did not make it. He passed away in my arms before we could get to OP. He may have made it had this clinic had more doctor's on staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Not enough doctor's to take care of your fur baby!!! Very sad and disappointing day!

We brought our puppy in for emergency care. They diagnosed and treated him very quickly. The staff were friendly and informative. They were very careful about how they treated the puppy as he was very sick and contagious. They took precautions to make sure he would not infect other animals but would also be able to get proper care. Overall, the experience was wonderful. They cared for our puppy like their own. The cost of the treatment and appointment was reasonable compared the severity of his illness. I recommend Hamburg over other emergency vets! I was very impressed with the level of care, caution and knowledge they brought to the appointment while keeping it reasonably affordable.
