Hard NO. Took two kittens to get examined and second booster to get ready for spaying. New place to me. Upon check-OUT I was told they didn't take Amex nor a check. 45 min from home @ 5pm I was told I had to stay and make my husband leave work or drive 1.5 hrs round trip. Upon telling them what long-time business I owned, the referral person whom they WELL knew, showing multiple forms of ID & offering to call a VISA payment in morning-- I was then DEMANDED to go ATM to ATM at dusk in Dunkirk to withdraw funds from random banks I had no affiliation with. Upon, which I asked what we could come to terms on.....the vet, herself, Johnson, said she was taking my kittens until I came back with payment!!! Holding my 4 month kittens HOSTAGE. wth?!?! Needless to say, I went to vehicle to look for anything in my vehicle (but really to look kittens in!) came back with one hundred dollar bill found hidden and had cops threatened. I was ALL for it. Needless to say I left and called in next AM. Billing is overpriced to make up for "lifetime vax". There are a LOT of places that welcome new customers. I recommend Hometown Vet in Northeast, PA or Village Veterinary by the firehall in Westfield, NY. I'll never recommend this place. BEYOND rude. I highly recommend they tell patients they are booking in as new what they accept for payments. (PS. I didn't know until I was there they used to be the OLD Westfield vet on Rt. 20. Had I known, I already wouldn't have come. They, in a very rude manner, told me I should have known their payment methods because I went to their old office, differently named, a decade ago.) AND WHO TAKES THE ANIMALS OUT BACK NOT IN VIEW OF THE OWNER TO GIVE VAXES AND BLOOD DRAW AND WHYYYY? Shady. (The picture is the young"Hostages" at their rude establishment.)
