I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sit Means Sit and the impact their training has had on both my dog and my life.
I started my dog there as a puppy, and he is now 9 years old. To this day, I still reinforce everything we learned through their program — and the results have truly lasted a lifetime.
Before training, everyday outings could feel stressful and unpredictable. Thanks to Sit Means Sit, my dog became calm, confident, well-mannered, and reliable in so many different environments. Because of the training, we were able to go more places together, enjoy more experiences, and truly be at ease with one another. It completely changed our relationship for the better.
One of the things that truly makes Sit Means Sit stand out is their continued support long after training is completed. They allow you to retake classes anytime, and if you ever have concerns or need guidance, they are there to help — even years later. In my case, they were still helping me 9 years after I first started training with them.
Dave, the owner, is incredibly kind, caring, compassionate, and genuinely invested in both the dogs and their owners. I recently had to replace my dog’s collars after all these years and was shocked to learn they were covered under a lifetime warranty.
When I went in, the facility was extremely busy with so many things going on at once, yet Dave immediately stopped what he was doing to personally help me. I was having trouble getting everything set up correctly, and he quickly resolved all of my issues without making me feel rushed or unimportant. That level of customer care and dedication is rare to find nowadays.
What I appreciate most is that the training is not just about commands — it is about communication, trust, confidence, structure, and building a stronger bond between you and your dog. Even now at 9 years old, people constantly compliment how well-behaved and attentive my dog is, and I truly credit the strong foundation Sit Means Sit gave us.
If you are considering training for your dog — whether it’s a puppy, rescue, high-energy dog, or a dog struggling with behavioral issues — I highly recommend Sit Means Sit. It was one of the best investments I ever made for both myself and my dog.
Sit means sit is not only a place you bring your dog to grow and develop but they become part of your life. I can't thank Cameron enough for working with my cane (Zeus) trusted in you and worked so well with you. I have seen the changed behavior and although hes still a puppy I can tell with the consistent training he will become an amazing dog. Thank you
Sit Means Sit has completely changed our lives. My husband and I put both of our girls through the program. My husband (and I) loved it so much that he is now working at Sit Means Sit to help do the same for others as what was done for us. They took the time to truly understand our dogs, our goals, and the kind of relationship we wanted with them and the results have been incredible. Huge shoutout to Jordan for helping our little German Shepherd's confidence immensely!
What stood out most was how much they genuinely care. They were patient, knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to answer questions or help us work through challenges. Seeing the level of dedication, passion, and integrity they put into every dog is actually one of the reasons my husband wanted to work there in the first place. They don’t just train dogs.. they build trust, confidence, and stronger relationships between dogs and their owners.
We are forever grateful for everything they’ve done for our family and would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for trainers who truly care and know what they’re doing.
Everyone here was absolutely amazing to work with! They truly care so much about helping teach your dog all kinds of things and work with you so you understand as well. They send you video progress reports throughout the day, as well as check ins at home to make sure everything is running smooth. Jo was mainly with my boys and she was absolutely incredible with them. I know my dogs are crazy and the progress they made in the three Fridays they spent with Jo was mindblowing! I never thought I would be able to walk my dogs individually let alone together and now we take family walks daily. Training is a process but the difference I saw with my dogs already has been life changing! I can't thank Jo and the team at sit means sit enough for helping us navigate the training process. If you are struggling with a "wild child" and don't know what to do you should seriously give them a call.
