Honestly delightful people, from the front desk to the vet techs to the vets themselves. Everyone has been kind, genuine and helpful. Everyone is so knowledgeable and empathetic. I am so impressed by how quickly everything got done for us, how thorough it was, and everyone I have met along the way has been lovely. I can't say that of other practices. I have been thrilled with our care here.

I started taking my pup to Dr Thompson last April when I was told by my previous vet that she just had arthritis. It got worse so I sought out Dr Thompson. She diagnosed her with a ruptured CCL and began a regimen of acupuncture, laser treatment and holistic supplements. My pup is doing great! The front desk staff, especially Morgan, has been very helpful and the techs are so kind and caring. For the most part, we’ve had a good experience with the Canton Animal Clinic

Dr Sherif Matar is a Fabulous veterinarian. April 7th I was scheduled to take our kitty in for his yearly exam and to my surprise had Dr Sherif. He is gentle, kind and listened to my concerns. Above all our kitty didn't feel a bit of discomfort when the vaccines were admitted. Dr Sherif Matar is an excellent addition to "Cantons Animal Clinic" and I do hope he stays here for years to come. Thank you Dr Sherif for taking care of my pets needs and giving me peace of mind. Cheryl Morgan

I try so hard to be patient with Canton Animal Clinic, but it’s honestly been a nightmare dealing with them the past 4-5 months. The front desk is so rude 99% of the time. I schedule my appointment for a reason and yes, I understand that they run late sometimes, but everytime I’m here, I wait 30+ minutes. My cat already hates being here and in a crate, we have to travel an hour total because there’s no vets in Potsdam. On top of that, they gave my cat back to me right after she woke up from being under a ketamine sedative for at least 3-4 hours, when they should have kept her until it wore off more and she was stable. They also referred me to a place near Ithaca with an awful vet that didn’t even have a CT scan which was the point of me going there. I love Dr. Martin, but throughout this process I haven’t been able to see her much. Sincerely, frustrated cat mama✌🏼
