Quick edit after I wrote this review: I refer in this review to Dr. Greene but then I realized they also have a Dr. Green, and stupid me is not sure which one we had. However based on our great experience, I am sure both are great! And if the doctor that saw our dog reads this, please know how happy we were with your attention. Onto the review.... Unfortunately it was time to bring our elderly dog in to be euthanized due to a significant decline in his quality of life, whereby he was no longer able to get up on his own, and once up, was not able to stand for more than 30 seconds before his hind legs gave out. Camillus Animal Clinic was able to get us in very quickly, and they explained the process to us very clearly, setting us at ease given the emotional toll this kind of appointment takes on pet owners. The staff provided comfortable bed for our dog to lay on, and after placing and IV in one of his legs, Dr. Greene came in with the anesthetic and administered it with ease. Just as she told us, our dog, who was laying comfortably on his side with us petting him, fell asleep almost immediately, and his heart rate gently slowed until he was no longer with us. There was absolutley no signs of distress or discomfort from our dog. Upon confirming his passing, Dr. Greene left us alone with him for a few minutes, then returned to make sure we were doing OK. Though the event itself is sad, we were fine, in no small part due to the compassionate and caring way Dr. Greene handled the entire process. She then let us leave through the back door, in privacy, so we didn't have to walk through a waiting room with people and their pets, and before we left, she offered her condolences and again made sure we were ok. So I must say, Dr. Greene is fantastic. Camillus Animal Clinic gave us all our options before taking care of our dog, and we decided to go with a private cremation and and paw print. I was expecting this to be expensive, but it wasn't expensive at all. They also take care of the payment BEFORE the prodedure, so you don't have to deal with that immediately after going through this with your pet. I'm sure most clinics do this, but it was a nice touch that I didn't think of. I highly recommend taking your pets to Camillus Animal Clinic for their veternary needs ( we have been going there for several years and have always had a good experience), and when the time comes where your pet is facing the end of their life, you will be in great hands helping them get to the other side peacefuly and comfortably. Thank you again Dr. Greene!

Had a great experience bringing my newly adopted cat in for their first appointment. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The vet was knowledgeable and transparent, taking the time to explain everything clearly. My cat was calm, treated with care, and handled with so much respect. Highly recommend them!
