I have been going to this veterinary clinic since my cats were kittens in 2018 and I had such a bad experience with not only my cat that passed away from cancer, but also my other Siamese cat who had a ongoing cough and was prone to periodically getting a respiratory infection during allergy season. I feel that the staff are rude and do not have any compassion whatsoever and that the doctor is more worried about her staff than she is her patent. I practically begged this doctor Orr to give my cat a different antibiotic to cure the cough, because the one that they gave him that he usually gets was not curing him, so I thought he needed to try a different antibiotic , but instead she took $320 xrays and said possible asthma and she gave him a steroid injection for asthma, meds for lung worms, and suggested expensive asthma meds , and again I asked, can we try some antibiotics before I have to go spend money on it expensive medicine with no luck again and multiple expensive appointments which did absolutely nothing to help my cat. I told her that Siamese cats are prone to respiratory infections The poor cat was suffering with cough for months, and she wouldn’t try giving him a different antibiotic . So I called yet again , and explained the issue again and they said oh do you wanna make another appointment? I’m like no I don’t wanna make another appointment, i asked to leave a message for Dr. when she finally got around to replying to my call after three days later and she left negative threatening message about her RUDE STAFF and didn’t even care that my cat was suffering. That was the straw , i’d had enough and was looking for a vet that actually cared about my cat, as he wasn't getting the right treatment they were not helping after spending hundreds of dollars and didn’t cure my cat. I left there went to another veterinary animal hospital And they prescribed him. Doxycycline and my cat is completely better and not coughing at all. This veterinary clinic at East Avenue I used to think we’re good but you know what they have very rude staff that show no compassion towards the animals nor their owners . They charge ridiculous amounts of money and unnecessary test and the Dr Orr shows no urgency when you call there with your pet in distress .

I find it heartbreaking when you have your family pets at this practice for many years, spend time and endless money . We had 2 family cats die 2 weeks apart at an urgent care because we couldn't get an appointment for at least 2 weeks. Now have lost 2 pets and not a single word of condolences from them. This is so heartbreaking 💔

We've been clients of this clinic for 2+ years. We recently adopted a dog, who unfortunately turned out to have lymphoma. Our vet, Dr. Stockwell, was extremely professional, very empathetic, and explained everything in a way both my partner and I could understand. During one of the most difficult moments of our life, this vet clinic treated us with dignity and respect, but most importantly treated our beloved dog with respect, love, dignity and care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I have never had a vet clinic treat us as kind as this one has, and while we lost our dog to cancer, our past 4 visits this month solidified the reason we will continue to be clients of this vet for our cats.
