Brought our dog Koki in at 3am after a GI emergency. From the moment we walked in, the team was excellent. Quick to triage, quick to diagnose, and great communicators every step of the way. What stood out most was how upfront they were about cost. They walked us through the full estimate, told us what was essential vs. secondary, and gave us real options instead of upselling. Zero pressure, no guilt trip, just honest information so we could make the right call for Koki. Came out to around $500 for the full visit, which is more than fair for any emergency vet and a relief at 3am. Professional, kind, and genuinely good at communicating with stressed pet owners. Hope we never need them again, but really grateful they're there.

Two years ago was the last day of my poor puppy’s life — and still, NO remorse from this place. The laws need to do more to protect our animals. The last picture they sent me telling me he was “okay” haunts me every day. Another Christmas without my boy because of their negligence. Another Thanksgiving missing him. I will never stop fighting for justice. Merry Christmas, my sweet Logan. 💔 August 2, 2023 is the day Atlantic Coast Animal Hospital took my dog away from us. I will continue to tell my story until this place closes its doors, so no other family has to experience this trauma. At 10:00 AM I received a call from Atlantic Coast SCREAMING at me that my dog was going to die and that they had been working on him for an hour. I had no idea what was happening or why they were yelling. When I arrived, my baby Logan had already passed — alone. The entire staff was rude and dismissive while I was grieving. Later, I found out the truth: They called the wrong family. Another woman rushed there thinking it was her dog dying. She was even in the room when I arrived — because they were trying to get me out before I learned what really happened. I eventually spoke to that woman. She told me everything she saw. I had a $12,000 bill for the “care” my dog received — care that ultimately failed him. Logan was only 3 years old. A baby. He deserved better. He deserved to not die alone. My family deserved the chance to say goodbye. If you continue to bring your pets here, it is on you — because you have been warned. I will never understand how such a catastrophic mistake could happen. I will continue fighting. I will never stop telling Logan’s story. Justice for Logan. RIP Logan. You would have been 5 years old My heart is forever broken.

Brought my 11 year old cat here on a referral from my vet for an ear issue he has been struggling with for years. Had no problem getting in and being seen by Dr. Whiteweithers as the dermatologist. CT scan and surgery was recommended which I unfortunately cannot afford (the CT scan alone was quoted around $3,400). Secondary treatment plan was suggested which I have been doing. When I had questions about the plan and about my cats overall health, I called back. In fact I called back 5 times over the course of a week and a half/2 weeks leaving messages with different receptionists who were all confused as to why my call wasn’t returned. When I finally received a call back from Dr WW, she insisted that she had called me back and left me a voicemail which was entirely not true. I was told that the voicemail must have “gone to spam messages” which doesn’t exist. Her next plan of action was to change his medication to something else, that she would push the prescription through to an online pharmacy and I could expect a call from them regarding the medication. This was over a month ago and I have received no call, no email, no information about the new medication and have essentially been ghosted by this doctor. I returned to my actual vet who cares for my pet and will be continuing care with them. This place is ridiculous.

This place is the best. They were honest, very caring, and brought comfort to myself & family in regards to our fur baby. I'd recommend anyone who loves there fur baby, take them here, hands down!!!

Dr. Cara Lucarelli and Kay were wonderful!! They took exceptional care of Monte (my 10 yr. old Boxer. I wasn't rushed and all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend them!!
